I live in the state in which I was born and less than 20 miles from where I grew up, though I've lived elsewhere. I work at a job I really like, and moving out here to pursue it was one of the best decisions I've made. Much of my life is satisfying, but of course not all of it. That why I have this LJ, you see. So I can revel in the good things and whine about the crap. ;-)
Lately, I've been thinking about turning 30, my future in publishing, going back to school and switching careers (whether sooner or later), taking up a new instrument (uillean pipes?) or practicing an old one again (bass clarinet?), and finishing knitting those baby blankets for my new niece and nephew.
